Cathlene is an associate mental health counselor from the Philadelphia area who has graduated from Chestnut Hill College with her master’s in Clinical and Counseling Psychology. Cathlene’s graduate school concentration centered around children and adolescent therapy, but she has clinical experience working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and groups.
Within her work, she has treated an array of issues including anxiety, depression, self-harm, trauma, abuse, PTSD, low self-esteem, eating disorders, ADHD, and stress. Cathlene aims to create a warm therapeutic environment that allows her clients to feel comfortable and safe in the therapeutic space. She is a trauma-informed therapist who uses an integrative approach to understand her client’s needs and explores interventions from Mindfulness, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapies, CBT, and Attachment theory.
In her free time, Cathlene likes to spend time with her family, attend to her plants, and travel as much as possible. Cathlene also likes to spend as much time on the beach as possible and loves to be outside.
