Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Danielle is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas with a Master’s degree in Social Work and undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Criminology from Texas A&M University–Kingsville. She has experience providing behavioral health services, crisis intervention, psychosocial assessment, case management, treatment planning, and care coordination across acute behavioral health, outpatient, school, and higher education settings. Danielle recently served as a Behavioral Health Supervisor in an Extended Observation Unit, where she works with individuals experiencing acute mental health and psychosocial concerns while also providing clinical consultation, staff education, and documentation review.

Danielle has worked with adults and young adults experiencing severe mental illness, substance use concerns, emotional and behavioral difficulties, crisis situations, and a variety of psychosocial challenges. Her experience includes completing psychosocial and diagnostic assessments, assessing suicide and other safety risks, developing and reviewing individualized treatment plans, providing crisis and supportive interventions, coordinating community resources, and working with interdisciplinary teams. She has also provided education and consultation to behavioral health professionals and has experience supporting individuals and families with connecting to healthcare, housing, financial, and other community resources.

Danielle's approach is strengths-based and focused on meeting individuals where they are while helping them identify practical steps toward their goals. She uses Motivational Interviewing-informed communication, CBT- and DBT-informed coping strategies, ACT-informed and strengths-based approaches, psychoeducation, and supportive interventions. She believes in building a collaborative relationship with clients and helping them recognize their existing strengths, supports, and ability to navigate difficult situations.

Outside of work, Danielle enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, visiting Disney parks, gardening, and finding ways to stay active and enjoy the outdoors.
