Jasmine is an Associate Licensed Counselor in Birmingham, Alabama. She has experience working with every age group providing various forms of therapeutic intervention services. Jasmine has dual master’s degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Human & Social Services. She comes with 6 years of experience administering crisis therapeutic interventions with children, adolescents, and adults in residential and outpatient settings. Jasmine is diverse in counseling and has proven to provide a strong foundation to help clients address a range of issues, including anxiety, trauma, substance use, difficulties managing anger, low self-esteem, family conflicts, peer conflicts, ADHD, and more.
Jasmine’s approach to therapy generally focuses on using evidence-based treatment including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy. She is passionate about helping people in their everyday life manage crisis situations, find resources and support to restore balance during some of the most traumatic, chaotic, and stressful times in their lives. She offers her clients a safe space to express themselves about the issues they are struggling with. She is passionate about making a difference in people’s lives. As a therapist, her goal has been to help people catch it, check it, and change it.
Jasmine enjoys live music, spending time with family, and engaging in self-care activities including massages, shopping, and salon time.
