Margaret Sigue, M.H.C.,LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor

Margaret Sigue is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Therapeutic Recreations at Southern University A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She continued at Southern University A&M to receive a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling.

Margaret is trained in EMDR and hypnotherapy. She utilizes a person-centered approach and believes each person is in control of their therapy session. Margaret believes it is important to study a person's overall lifestyle to truly understand what they are having difficulties with. This belief has led to her journey to study holistic therapy. As a therapist, it is her priority to create a therapeutic atmosphere that promotes growth and positive changes.

Margaret is from a small city in Louisiana that is known for shrimp and petroleum. Growing up she wanted to be a social worker and a dance teacher living in Atlanta or Texas, but she could not give up those Louisiana roots.

In her free time, Margaret enjoys reading, lifting weights and hopes to learn how to play the acoustic guitar one day! She also enjoys spending time with her son and daughter. Margaret loves to travel and looks forward to taking her first ski trip next year. A fun fact about Margaret is that she likes odd numbers, everything has to be even!
