Phil Sheridan, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Phil is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in Idaho.  Phil has extensive experience working with people in crises, people struggling with serious mental illness and people in the midst of significant life change and transition.  He has over 20 years of experience in the behavioral health field as a clinician, in corporate compliance roles and as a healthcare leader and CEO, managing hospitals and treatment centers around the country.  This background provides a strong practical foundation in intervention, effective treatment plans, and in customizing therapy to the individual.

He is comfortable with people from all walks of life, believes in the fundamental principles of agency, empowerment and the core ability for every client to access the inner resources necessary for transformative change.  His background in crisis work provides a strong sensitivity to personal safety, the impact of trauma, and a deep regard for the personal stories and experiences that clients bring to therapy. As a therapist his fundamental passion is to normalize the experience of psychiatric and emotional distress, de-stigmatize the individual seeking help and relief and to work collaboratively toward transformative solutions.

Phil enjoys cycling, reading music and being outdoors connecting and grounding in nature.
