Sunshine Wilder

Sunshine Wilder is an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences from the University of Southern Maine. She then went on to earn a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of New England. Upon graduating with her Master’s degree in 2004, Sunshine relocated to Florida from the New England area.

Sunshine brings over 19 years of experience working with children, teens, adults, families, and couples in various settings such as child welfare, specialized therapeutic foster care, and outpatient therapy. She is diverse in Social Work and has proven to provide a strong foundation to help clients address a range of issues, including stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, anger management, depression, ADHD, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), attachment issues, and Bipolar disorder.

Sunshine’s approach to therapy is one of an eclectic nature with modalities such as CognitiveBehavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, Trauma Informed Care, and Coping Skills Development. She is passionate about creating a safe and positive environment for her clients and aims to provide them with a space to share their feelings comfortably and feel supported.

Sunshine’s clients often feel empowered and hopeful about their different situations when working with her. As a therapist, her goal is to encourage her clients to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life as well as to take the first steps towards a healthy change. She is there to support and empower her clients in their various journeys.

When Sunshine is not working, she enjoys drawing, painting, reading, road trips, shopping, listening to music, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
