Tonia is an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio with extensive experience working with every age group providing various forms of therapeutic intervention services. Tonia comes with over 10 years of experience administering crisis therapeutic interventions with children, adolescents, immigrants, and adults in community-based settings and hospital emergent crisis settings. Tonia is diverse in Social Work and has proven to provide a strong foundation to help clients address a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, difficulties managing anger, low self-esteem, family conflicts, academic difficulties, peer conflict, and work stress.
Tonia’s approach to therapy generally focuses on using evidence-based treatment including Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. She is passionate about helping people in their everyday life manage crisis situations, find resources and support to restore balance during some of the most traumatic, chaotic, and stressful times in their lives. As a therapist, her goal has been to help people navigate change, promote growth, and restore hope.
When Tonia is not operating in the role of a therapist she enjoys spending time with her two children, going to local soccer games, attending church, and traveling.
